In the Cleveland area and just had to try some of the Akron clubs I had read about. I don't know if I was too early or if a lot of these places were closed on Sunday, but nothing going on at CW, OGD, Dreamer's, or Late Night. Georgies looked busy and front the outside like it would be the place that was happening tonight. Jen's had only a few cars and I remembered it was no cover, so I thought there was no harm in trying Jens first.

From an outsiders perspective, I was more than pleasantly surprised by Jens. First, club appearance was not bad inside or outside. First off, understand that ANY part of Akron, like Detroit and some other cities, is going to be sketchy, questionable, or whatever. Most strip club locations are. However, there appears to be a ton of police presence in the area. A word of advice, don't forget to signal, speed (most of area is 35mph), or miss a turn and turn around so that you appear lost because you are likely to get pulled over just because. Back to Jens. Free parking, decent lit area, never felt unsafe at anytime in or out of club. Inside of club was clean and well kept. Male bartender and male working VIP area sitting outside of curtain. One bathroom missing door and not overly clean, the other had a door and was clean for those of you who seem obsessed with bathroom status. Large square bar with a few TV's of varying size behind it - had football games on. There is a single lonely pole in one corner that was never used, nor likely to be ever used as the pole and stage aren't big enough to really do anything except pose next to the pole. There is zero, notta, neglo stage danco, NO stage dancing. So if that is your thing and what you are looking for, stop reading this or any other Jen's reviews and go elsewhere.

Why go to Jen's - simple - $5 bar side/table dances. As others have indicated, the mileage is surprisingly incredibly high for $5 dances out in the open. Lots of stick shifting, plenty of flashes, and some girls will let you know where they want your hands to help their enjoyment as well. When I arrived, there were three girls and about five customers. Within 30 minutes after I arrived, there were 20+ customers and three girls. After about 8:30-9:00pm, there were about 12 girls and customers fluctuated between 12-20 at any given time. I am not sure I will get spellings right, but I had dances from Tori, Bella, Amy (normally at 1245 see said), Ashley, Kelly, Candice, some AA I couldn't understand, and two others I forget. All the $5 dances had a ton of stick shifting. Different dancers had different techniques and at $5 a song, it was fun to try them all. All but 2 of the ladies working were white. The AA I tried a dance with was cute, very good first dance, got sidetracked by her phone most of second dance, and then asked if I would pay her tipout instead of third dance, so she got far less than anyone else. If she would have paid more attention to me, we would have danced longer for sure. Oh well. Ended up trying the back with Ashley, Kelly, and Bella - Ashley and Bella charged $15 each, Kelly charged $20. One of the girls explained the dances are $15, $10 to them and $5 to club. Others that charge $20 are basically taking the position of dances are $15 to them and $5 to club so you are basically paying the house fee instead of them. The VIP area is a large room with many couches (similar to the size and horseshoe layout of the bar, just rotate 90 degrees) with a black curtain hanging between VIP guy and dance area. Guy never peeked in, in fact, he just assured the curtains were fully closed. Ashley and Bella were very playful and energetic in the back. Nothing that I would call "extra" though, just very playful flirting. Kelly was more of a grinder, not as playful on her dances. All got nude (no top and g string slid to side) during dances in the back. Overall, I had 4 or more dances with 10 girls (except the AA, she got 2 for reasons mentioned) and spent time in back all for very reasonable costs for almost 5 hours of fun.
