Two recent trips to the Rail

I've never thought of the Brass Rail as a 'hit-or-miss' type of club. It's always had the same basic and consistent vibe for me - narrow, crowded atmosphere, sort of hot dancers overwhelmingly in the 7 range, okay music, and mediocre to occasionally good dances...all in a tourist-trappy overpriced package.

But my last couple trips there were a real contrast. On one Saturday this fall, I was quite surprised at the number of hot chicks and good dances I encountered. So much so that I went back the very next Saturday night only to discover that the old Rail vibe was back and most of the hot chicks from the previous week had vanished. There was a Blue Jays game in Toronto both of those nights, so I had hoped the first successful Saturday owed its good vibe to that and figured the next weekend would follow suit...but no such luck.

Overall, the Rail is probably an average of those two nights. It doesn't really have too many girls higher than a 8 most nights, and good dances are few and far in between. So finding a girl that delivers on both is a tough task here.
