First visit

Damn...this was the highlight of my short business trip to MD! I used to to live/work here back in 2008/09 and haven't been back to the area til now. I had never been to the EI prior and have read a lot about it since I left the DMV and always wondered about this place. Well, I can wonder no more! This joint was a pleasant surprise and I can only imagine it being more off the hook before the change in hours. Two of the reasons why I didn't visit when I lived here: 1) I liked the joints I was hitting at the time -Stage Door, Sinsayionals and Irvings (occasional Bazz & Crue) and 2) I used to use mapquest for everything back in the day and whenever I would put the address in, it could never bring up the location/directions. So I just left it alone. This trip I had GPS, and when I plugged the address in, it corrected it with the city being Capitol Heights vice Fairmount Heights as listed here.

Parked in the church lot across the street. Enough reviews to describe the place, but I will say it was obvious this joint was some type of regular lounge/bar/dance spot. I've only read a few reviews priotr to my trip and didn't really remember much beyond the free church parking, so when ol girl was hitting me for $12 cover for dayshift entry (I arrived on Wednesday around 6:30pm) I was actually surprised. One of the few places that charges during dayshift. Dayshift is 5-10pm and nights from 10-3am.

No pressure to buy drinks and I was turned off by the drink prices, so I didn't bother. The bar is a separate room from the actual strip dance area. They have about 3 or 4 "waitresses" asking for drinks or if you want a stack of 1's to tip.
