Racers for the exit...
So I read a review from a few months back and was in the area so thought I'd give Racers a try. I will say that I was less than impressed. The girls were solidly on the 4-6 range of a 10 point scale, with a few really tipping the scale. The site said nude dancers, but I never saw a hint of a kitty. They only rarely danced on stage (two there but only using one). The music was loud and mostly pop/rap. As soon as I walked in, a gal grabbed onto me. I don't know if she would have been my first choice but I played along. Got a $5 beer. Ok. She asked if I'd buy her a drink. OK. So they say it is $20. Hmm. $10 for the dancer and $10 for the house for the beer and glass. That is an expensive beer. And the $10 for the dancer didn't buy much quality conversation. Mostly she kept asking if I was ready for a dance. Talked about $35 and then some 2 for $40. Pointed at the "private" area (behind a beaded screen....) and mentioned a VIP room but said it was pricy. I didn't bother to ask that. Even while we sat there, a couple other girls come up asking to join us. I guess you can get 2 or 3 back there but I am sure you pay for each (maybe by the pound?) But finally I relented when the DJ advertised a 2 for 1. Of course this was the same 2 for $40 that I had already been offered. I am not sure what the deal here is. Anyhow, my hands got to roam somewhat. She touched somewhat. But really this is a far cry from what you can get in Lexington where I normally wander the clubs. There may be a lot of cameras now in Lexington but at least you have hot chicks and more contact. I am still sold on Camelot East as my current favorite with one dancer (R) who makes sure you get VIP treatment. No such dancers at Racers came to mind. That is $90 that I wont get back and I recommend you don't enter unless you are desperate to see what I saw.
