Platinum plus, re-opened

It re-opened Friday the 13th. I stopped in on Saturday night, from 8:30 to 11:00 or so. Being new to the area I cannot speak to any changes to the layout -- there may be none. The parking lot looked full, but the cavernous inside made the place look empty.

Entering there is a counter, I was told no cover. I had a jacket, but there was not coat check. I walked in and as I reached the main area there was a lady selling bottles of beer for $5.25. I took one and found a seat at around table and three very comfortable chairs. The tables are in a U shape around the main stage. There are two bar areas in the club as well. It is big.

There were a large number of waitresses, so many that there efforts to be helpful became a nuisance. I hadn't sat down two minutes with my front desk beer when 5 waitresses asked if I was OK. This continue all night long. Too many waitress to few customers. Also, and unfortunately, the is the bathroom guy putting soap in my hand and handing me a paper towel, waiting for a tip. I don't need this help, momma taught me well.
