Wow, this place has fallen far. This used to be my "go to" strip club when visiting the Twin Cities. Even about a year and a half ago, I had a great experience there. I just re-visited last night - a Saturday night, 10pm, you'd expect it to be a fun time. The door person repeated to my buddy and I more than once that there are "no refunds" on cover - a red flag, in hindsight. We paid our $10 for entry and our $10 for a soft drink, and sat down. There were about 5 or 6 dancers on duty. All of them were worse for the wear. I've been to a lot of strip clubs in my day and only three times have I ever walked out within 30 minutes, due to the low quality - and last night was one of them. The dancers were so heavy and/or generally unattractive, and the vibe was so sad and desperate, that my buddy and I averted our gaze from all but one of them. That one was one Asian that looked good from afar, but she herself had some major skin issues, upon closer inspection (and I'm not a very picky person). I'm not judging the dancers' character here (though some of them quite literally stank of stale cigarettes, and were not the sharpest tools in the shed), but yikes, they all should probably have been in some other line of work at this point in their lives. My buddy and I just got up and left, after seeing all there was to see. We felt pretty depressed and ripped off after leaving.

I'll close by saying this, Dream Girls: If you ran a restaurant, and your chef didn't show up for work one day, would you still charge full price for a meal and not warn the customers, even if the meal was gross and unacceptable? I don't think so. But that's essentially what you did last night with your "no refund" policy. Either get some new talent, or don't take customers' money, please. Yikes.
