Bad vibe

Had finished my business in Jackson about 2:00 pm so I decided to check out a couple of new (to me) clubs. Looked up reviews on tuscl and another website and noticed that Avenues and Cracker Jaxx had decent reviews and ratings. Went to Avenues first because tuscl said they opened at 11:00 am while CJ did not open until 3:00. Arrived at Avenues around 2:30-2:40 but sign on the door said they didn’t open until 3:00 Mon.-Thurs. so I drove to CJ to see if they might be open. Of course they weren’t so I went back to Avenues shortly after 3:00. Parking was free and I got the last spot in a very tight tiny lot out back.

No cover to get in. As you enter the club the stage is to the right and the bar is to the left. The stage is surrounded by what seems like too many tables and the place feels somewhat crowded and jammed in. I take a seat at a table and order a bottled domestic beer. Price was somewhere in $6-7 range.

There was a decent looking dancer (around a 7) on stage with bolt-ons. Unfortunately, those are a turn-off for me. There is no DJ announcing names of dancers so I do not know any dancer’s names.
