Have dropped in to the Paradise...

Have dropped in to the Paradise 3 times over the last couple of months. Ten dollars buys a year's membership and otherwise there is no cover. Beer and mixed drinks are between $3 and $4. They do have that annoying practice of "collecting for the jukebox" every hour or so with one of the dancers walking around collecting a $1 from all the patrons. Dances are $10 on the main floor. Don't know if you'd call it a VIP area but there is a raised area of seating behind the main floor which is mostly closed off from view. Don't think it costs anything to get in there and it seems to be a hangout of the regulars and their favorite dancers. As for the dancers, they are a mixed bag. Usually a couple of 7's or 8's, plenty of girls in the 5-6 range and a couple who just shouldn't be dancing. Dances are pretty hands on and, if you can find a girl you like, are pretty fun. Girls are pretty aggressive about soliciting dances if they aren't already with someone but most of the best looking girls are usually taken. Overall, this isn't a bad place and could be very enjoyable if you find the right lady but that isn't so easy. Oh...and the place is very small so it could get very crowded during a busy night.
