I was disinclined to go to this club because I generally think Deja Vu clubs (other than perhaps the somewhat uneven Lil' Darinlings in Las Vegas) are fairly tame, cookie-cutter, and almost never among a city's Top 5 or 10 places to go. This place is the exception. This club is in the former space of Sahara, which was a very high mileage but very run down place that had worn out its good years. This new and completely renovated club is less than a year old. The renovations make this place look real good. There is a big stage in the middle of the main dance floor, lots of comfortable seating, and the usual nudity on stage but no booze routine. One nice touch is that the waitresses all dress up in fairly hot french maid outfits. And many of them are quite good looking as well. The $10 full contact topless lap dance here might be the best bargain in the country, much less a big city like LA. The dances aren't done in complete privacy, but they aren't done out in the open either. There is a dance room that has many (plush and very comfortable) lounge chairs where the dances are done with a large divider between chairs. While the seats could be wider (thereby facilitating a larger number of grinding positions), they are pretty good and get an 8 for privacy unless the dance room is very crowded. The dance quality is generally very good as well. I had one girl grind me into a happy place and another couple of girls who allowed very good mileage. In time, this place will probably charge 20 or 25 for a dance (and then it will be only ordinary), but for now this place deserves very high marks. Not the place for extras, but the place for a good old fashioned grind with 1985 type pricing.
