Criket Review

This being my first time in Detroit, I decided to check out this place based on some decent reviews and a couple of suggestions via PMs from other TUSCLers. My schedule necessitated an early Saturday afternoon visit, which worked out well for me.

Plenty of free parking behind the building, discreet rear entrance, no cover, and bottled water (fancy-schmancy Voss) was $8.00 at the bar. The place looked pretty nicely appointed, and I was able to sit for free in one of the booths near the stage which, as mentioned in other reviews here, they charge for at night. Also during the day, there's no fee to visit the VIP.

Coming in as early as I did, my expectations were fairly low in terms of the number of girls I'd see. I was there from 1:00-3:30 pm, and in that time there were about 10-12 girls. A couple of them mentioned that it was slow, with both fewer girls and fewer customers than usual for a Saturday afternoon. (Maybe it was because nearly every college football team in the country was playing and perhaps guys were spending their afternoons at home watching TV, or maybe they were headed to Ann Arbor for the Michigan-Rutgers game later that afternoon.) Anyway, I would rate the dancers on duty as being in the 6-7 range, with maybe one 8. Now that I think about it, I think they were all white, as were the customers.
