I am a long term customer...

I am a long term customer of Platinum Plus as it is really the only club available in the Portland area. This is probably the biggest detriment to the atmosphere at this place as they seem to realize that they have no competition. Over the years this club has gone through its ups and downs. It has definately been in a downward spiral over the last few months. The club offers a wide range of women. However, the recent trend seems to be to hire anyone who wants to dance. As a result you have many young, not so pretty or fit girls walking around with a huge entitlement mentality. Par for the course is the "Wanna dance" method of introducing yourself. Generally you feel ripped off from the moment you walk into this place. From the cover charge to get in, the drink prices, $20.00 dance prices and waitresses asking if "you are going to tip them good" it does not make for a really enjoyable experience. Actually had one mediocre dancer stop her stage set and yell out into the audience "tipping is appreciated." Dance quality really depends on the girl. Generally unless you know one of the girls really well it is complete air. Dances take place in a couch room off of the main room. In my opinion if you are an older man, days are better than nights. Huge party atmosphere at night, more mellow during the days.
