I probably gave this club a higher score than it deserves because of the good times I've had there in the past. While this club is in Bakersfield, it does feature a surprising amount of good looking women and the city may be responsible for the girls' laid back attitude and desire to give the customer the best bang for their buck (the opposite of many of the clubs in Los Angeles). At least this was true until the beginning of this year when the club received its renovation....

While the girls are still good looking and pleasant enough, the presence of cameras, tokens and other changes have gone a long way toward giving the club a cold, commercial feel where the customer and then dancer spend more time worrying than interacting. The VIP dances in particular are a shadow of what they once were. Damn the rise of the big chains! Perhaps the opening of two competing clubs soon will push the Vu to change its ways.
