The Standard

The most consistent club in town for attractive dancers. Good variety too, both in terms of body type (young, older, thin, athletic, rounded, natural and artificially enhanced) and ethnicity. Tattoos are present but typically not over the top. Not a high pressure push to do lap dance atmosphere. Seems to get going later in the evening, often only one or two stages open at 8 or 9. May not be until 11 before all four stages are open. Gals disappear off the list frequently so one must act quickly if a trip upstairs is wanted. Prices are high and there does not seem to be much room for negotiation. Expect to see 40-50 per short song for the trip upstairs, plus a one time $5 wrist band charge. The only real drawback is that the crowd likes to smoke cigars, so the air is smoky. Dining room attached but never tried it so don't know if it is any good.
