Good lapdance experience

I stopped in at Polekatz on a Friday in the early afternoon, around 1pm. I had a couple of hours to kill before a flight out of Midway--to which Polekatz is very conveniently located--and thought I'd check out what I understand as one of the better reviewed clubs in the Chicago area (where, I also understand, the reviews aren't that good overall).

The only parking is valet, but in the afternoon the service is free. Of course, it's just good sense to tip the valet a couple of bucks, so I did. Both parking and picking up my car afterwards were easy, and my interactions with the valet were friendly. When I walked into the place, there was nobody obviously working the door, so I walked in. The bouncer came over to check my ID, and we also had a friendly interaction. The club has kind of an old-school feel. It actually feels like you might think a big strip club would if they actually put it in Midway--all 80s carpet and cheesy neon. There are two stages, a bigger main stage and a smaller one in a sort of annex of the main room behind the bar. Because it was pretty empty, all the dancers were working the main stage, dancing three song shifts in reasonably quick succession.

There were maybe nine or ten guys in there. I ordered a beer at the bar--the selection is domestic-heavy, and they also have a full bar. Everything seemed reasonably priced. I was approached by a girl in a bikini, about a 7. She sat down and we chatted for quite a while (maybe a little too long -- I let her know that I was going to watch the rotation before I got any dances, but the day was slow, so she kept up the conversation for a while before spotting one of her regulars and heading over). I headed up to the stage to check out the girls and handed out some dollars. I watched about eight girls dance, and I think that the whole time I did this, maybe one other guy visited the stage. At least the day I went, the day shift was clearly dominated by regulars who all came to just get dances from their regular girls. The girls were all super friendly, and talked to me as they danced. For your dollar, you get about 20 seconds of targeted gyration and then the option for a little touch as you put the bill in the her garter.
