I tend to poke my head into this club once every few months. I remember what this club was like a few years ago and I periodically check back to see if the old habits have returned.

Years ago this club was basically a brothel run by a biker gang. Extras flowed more freely here than any other club in central florida on either coast. The times have clearly changed, and I don't think the old Shark lounge is ever coming back. There were plenty of busts and arrests a couple years ago and my understanding is that the current owners are not biker gang affiliated.

When I visited there was no dancing on stage. The stage was actually under construction. The old aquarium under a fiberglass stage is gone. Replaced now by a wood panel type thing. The new stage will be bigger, and although this will always be a smallish club with a small stage it's an attempt to upgrade. The shark cage in the corner where women were once objectified is long gone. The girls promised the stage would be up and running soon, but the night I visited all they had to offer were $10 table dances and $25 VIP dances. No stage dancing for tips.
