Dive

Some of my buddies make a yearly visit to Daytona for some golf and R&R. I decided to join them again this year. For some reason, we always end up getting drunk and hitting this dive. I would hesitate going here alone, but with a group it is ok. There are some scary characters hanging around sometimes, but it is well lighted, and is in a good neighborhood close to the beach, so no real worries. The club has seen it's better days, but if you like dives then this is the club for you in Daytona. The other clubs are much cleaner, and nicer in appearance, but there is a certain charm about this joint. The girls are not as hot, but they are friendly, and easy to get to know and carry on real conversations with. The drink prices are about average, the service is very good, although our waitress got a little drunk herself towards the end of our visit, it didn't bother me any. I got hooked up with an older dancer, with an ok slender body, I can't remember her name. She was nice, didn't pressure for dances in the back. I had a good time hanging out with her. The dances in the back were good, but it is not plush by any means back there. You kind of worry about what you might be sitting in, if you know what I mean. I didn't get any extras back there, or even ask so I don't know if they are available or not, that seems to change from year to year. Overall, if you like friendly dives then this is the place for you.
