Based on my Saturday night visit I would sum-up Mardi Gras Oxford with one word

Based on my Saturday night visit I would sum-up Mardi Gras Oxford with one word... boring. I'm not saying that this place was terrible or that the ladies were ugly. It's just that it lacked the things that make strip clubs fun (ie beautiful/hot women and/or dances that are "extra" special ;)

Here's some details...

Mardi Gras Oxford is about 5 minutes from the Mass pike and I-290/395 interchange down Rt. 20 a main 4 lane road going through a suburban commercial area. Route 20 is notorious for speed traps and DUI checkpoints at night so beware! The club is across from a large service station and has an electronic sign out front. There's more than enough parking and the area feels very safe. A $7 cover was collected by a cute friendly milk chocolate young lady (wished she danced!) On my visit I didn't see any sign of the license scanning that other reviewers have noted. I didn't even have to show my ID! Maybe because I'm an old dude?

From the front door you can see almost the whole club. In the rear center there's a very large elevated square stage with two poles that doubles as the main bar. Just like at Mardi Gras in Springfield the ladies dance right on the bar directly in front of you at about shoulder height in relation to where you sit. This allows for some very good views/interaction. Beyond the stage on the left is the door to the outdoor smoking patio. To the left of the front door is another bar with about a dozen seats. A bottle of beer cost $4.50. To the right of the front door is another very small bar then two hallways. The first leads off to the lap dance "room" with the Champagne "room" beyond that. As others have noted these are just areas that are partially obscured with glass bead curtains and contain several leather sofas facing each other in a U shape layout. The second hallway leads to the restrooms. There's high top tables with bar stools around the club. But basically no lounge seating except for one couch by the front door and far from the stage.

On the positive side- overall the ladies put on a decent stage show. There were a lot of boobs in my face. Many dancers showed-off their pussys by doing spead eagles and parting their lower lips with their fingers. Unfortunately all the ones that I saw had big stretched-out boxes with big sloppy beef curtains. Not the small tight kind that I like. A few dancers put on a brief pole show. Generally all ladies including the bar staff were friendly/sociable. The stage sets were a half hour with 3 to 4 ladies on stage at the same time for the entire set. This was waaayyy too long!! Especially since there were only about 9 dancers working this night. On top of that some ladies just parked themselves in front of one customer for their entire set.
