Somebody at City Limits mentioned that people will stop off at Embers for a few drinks before heading over to City Limits (actually, now I see that's also in Priapism's review). I decided to get with the program and try it - that plan worked out quite well. I forgot to read the club specs before heading over, and was thinking I'd have to pay a small cover to get in on a Friday...nope - no cover. That was nice. The price for my beer was pretty much what I'd expect at any bar. I was able to get a seat at a table and just chill - personally I didn't get solicited for table dances, in fact only one dancer approached me, which was fine. I was saving the money for City Lights. The girls were fairly attractive (one dancer at City Lights had cautioned me that they'd be ugly. They were fine.)...no girls that need to consider another career, and a few pretty good looking ones. One blond did some pretty impressive stuff on the pole and an excellent handstand ending in the splits - 8.5 from the American judges...the rest did pretty much the standard repetoire onstage.

I'd go back, but probably not as a final destination. Plusses are no cover, decent girls, and getting out of there with some money left. A good place to "warm up".
