Couples Welcome??

After strolling Bourbon Street for a couple hours after dinner and doing a little bar hopping we passed by Rick's and the doorman invited me and my wife inside and told us that couples are gladly welcome. After paying a cover of $10 a piece, we didn't feel as welcome as we walked in and sat for a while. I was only approached once for a lap dance and that was when my wife got up to go to the restroom (the women's restroom is upstairs for some reason), but I declined as the dances here are $60 and I didn't have that kinda cash to shell out for a dance that I knew I would get no action out of. From what I saw there is lots of "no touch" dancing on the first floor, although that might change on the other floors of this club but I'm not sure. Don't get me wrong, this place would be great for a guy or guys looking to have a good night out but make sure you bring lots of money. As stated the dances are expensive and my wife and I each had 2 mixed drinks (very strong) that cost us a total of $56 before tip. As for the girls in this club there is some great looking talent in here. Out of the 12-15 girls working this Friday about 4 were in the 8-9 range and 2 others that I saw were absolute bombshells making this the club with the best looking girls on Boubon St. Notice I said on Bourbon, because I still think the best club in the city as far as girls go is The Penthouse Club but good luck getting a seat in there if you arrive late on a Friday or a Saturday night. Overall I think a good time can be had at Rick's but as I said it's expensive and more geared towards the business crowd, so the frat or bachelor party crowd might be better off saving a few bucks and going somewhere like Larry Flints. If your pockets are deep though then go for it!!
