Look but dont touch - pretty girls, good food, good drinks but no hanky-panky
I've been going off and on to the Good Guys since the late 70's when I wasnt actually old enough to legally enter but had a good fake ID and enough facial fuzz to pass for 18 (when the DC drinking age was 18 and I wasnt lol)
I go a few times and then stay away for several years, then my curiosity brings me back, repeat cycle.
In the old days it was mainly a biker hangout and could get rough (average 2 fights a night) but my best friend's older brother worked there as a bouncer so it was ok.
Its now a mainly white-collar professional crowd with a mix of a few blue-collar, military and college types. In te old days it had 1 stage but now there are 3
What brings me back is that they tend to have some of the prettiest girls in DC, mostly white and quite attractive - they are picky about who they hire and they can be since its considered a desirable place to work and make good money. The food is consistently good and reasonably priced, the mixed drinks are strong enough for the money, and its generally a clean and well kept facility. However I can see pretty girls on my screen in the comfort of my home and get good food and drinks from my fridge. The reason I'd go to a strip club is for the live interaction with the dancers, not just conversationally but in anticipation that it would lead to more sexual contact. However Good Guys like all DC law compliant clubs has no VIP rooms, no lap dances, and no touching. So unless you invest a lot of time going there and talking to the same one or two girls AND are lucky enough to have picked a girl that will eventually be willing to see you outside the club, I'd rather spend my time and money in clubs in other cities I travel to where a more sexual experience is part of the reality. And that is why I joined TUSCL so I can get help zeroing in on such establishments and and not waste tie on duds!
