Slow nights aren't worth it

The Strip Joint is one of my favorite clubs, so much so that I'm willing to drive 45 minutes just to get there. Most of the time I've had great experiences, but I'm writing to warn you that the week nights can be really hit or miss. I decided to make the drive one Tuesday not too long ago and arrived at about 10:30pm. The parking lot looked pretty dead, but I went in anyway. There were literally two dancers in the whole place! Both were new, and didn't seem very interested in dancing at all. Now for those of you that haven't been before, there isn't much dancing on stage even on a busy night. It's mostly laps and VIP, but they'll put somebody on stage here and there for 2 songs. (The first song they stay on stage, the second they visit the patrons sitting along the rail.) On this particular Tuesday night nothing was happening, and I mean NOTHING. I had already paid, so I decided to wait it out for a bit to see what might happen. No lap offers, no stage dances, just me with my non-alcoholic drink staring at an empty stage listening to loud ass rap music. I thought about leaving a few times, but was hoping that Dolly might roll in super late like she does sometimes. No such luck. Fortunately a group of about 10 people eventually showed up and suddenly the management decided that they'd better put one of the girls on stage. I tipped at the rail and then got a private dance with her afterward. She was really attractive, but not as friendly as most of the regular dancers here. It wasn't an air dance, but mileage was really low. I was pretty disappointed on the long drive home...

Bottom line, I'm going to think twice before making that drive on a weeknight again. Fridays and Saturdays might not have the same VIP specials, but there will definitely be lots of girls there!!
