Best in Charleston - meh

Was in Charleston for a guys trip and after dinner and a few drinks, we decided to check out the strip club action in Charleston. As a caddy would tell us the next day, Charleston is not even close to what you have with Myrtle Beach clubs. We were told Stilettos was best in town so hopped a cab there. $20 cover charge. Physical layout is nice with large bar but very few tables/chairs especially around the dance stage. Decent number of girls working but very few that attractive. That said, most were very adept at pole tricks. Dance prices are weird - 1 lap dance for $30, 2 for $40 then VIP $175 for 15 min. Not exactly sure how that math works. Eventually took a thin blonde who was one of the better looking dancers back for trial. Got 2 dances with ok contact - hands on boobs, some butt friction - but nothing special. As place was closing and we were leaving, found out that you could get dances with waitresses; however, they only do VIP dances for 15 min. Shame to find out late as one waitress was smoking and might have been worth it. Also explains why they are all so friendly to patrons. In sum, it's probably not worth going to a club in Charleston unless you want to go to a bar and watch pole dancing. Otherwise, save your money and go to Myrtle
