So Depressing

My boyfriend and I were visiting Alaska in mid September from Phoenix, AZ and we love going to strip clubs there (Phoenix has a TON) so we decided we wanted to visit one while we were in Anchorage. When we walked in we went up a small creaky staircase to the top floor where the main floor of the club was and paid our cover. The music was so loud and really bad quality sound.. like it sounded like the speakers were old and tinny. The club was pretty busy since it was around 12:30 am and there were a lot of people sitting around the stage (there's only one stage in the club). There wasn't a whole lot of seating, and it felt really cramped. There's a really small smoking deck, if you could even call it that, outside and it was packed full of dancers and young customers smoking it looked like it could hold maybe 5 people but there were at least 15 crammed out there. Also the whole club felt dirty. The chairs were uncomfortable and some looked like they had stains on them and you could see the stage was dirty and the pole squeaked and looked like it was going to fall down any minute (one of the dancers was doing some impressive pole tricks and I was scared the pole was going to fall). A cute waitress came up and asked us for our drink order, and since it's an 18+ juice bar, there serve no alcohol so we just got redbull, it was like $7 per drink. It seemed like there were a lot of young guys at this club, maybe military since there's a base in Anchorage. There were a few other couples and they looked like they were in their 30's or 40's.

It looked like there were around 15 dancers working and they all looked young for the most part. There were only one or two that had decent bodies, the rest were honestly disgusting and looked like they never worked out and only ate fast food I couldn't believe they got paid to take their clothes off. Also there were a lot covered in really awful ugly tattoos. Some of them were pretty good dancers and entertaining to watch, but most of them were terrible on stage and had really bad bodies. Also this club is nude and you will see more than enough lady bits on stage. A super young girl came and sat down with us and talked for a while and she was one of the better looking ones there and super friendly. She was telling us how much dance prices were, and that we could buy her drinks to get money off her house fee (which was ridiculously high and the drinks for dancers are outrageously expensive just for juice... $30.. rip off). As we were talking to the girl she was telling us about how this is the first club she danced at and how she started dancing a few months ago. I bought my boyfriend 15 minutes of nude dancing in the couch room and it was around $150, he said it was alright and not worth the cost at all. It didn't seem like many people were buying dances, mostly just watching the stage shows and tipping the dancers on stage. There were a lot of girls standing around looking bored. Another girl came buy and told us about the shower show and dances they offer, and it seemed like a cool thing I've never been to a club that did that. We were there for probably an hour maybe an hour and a half and got kind of bored so we left. Don't think I would come back to this club, it was kind of depressing and weird and really cramped. I'd skip this club and go to Alaskan bush company, the girls were prettier and nicer and there was more space (and they serve alcohol).
