Hands down the best time that...

Hands down the best time that I had at a club while I was in Denver. I came in on a Monday about 9 or so and the place was hopping. $10.00 cover. One thing that sets SW's apart from a lot of club is the abundance of stages (seven to my count), each of which was color coded with lighting around the rail so you could tell what dancer was on what stage. The one annoying thing was that because there were so many stages that there aren't a lot of tables to sit at. I was by myself, so I found myself bouncing from stage to stage a lot.

If you want dances here, you pretty much have to ask the dancers for them while they're performing. Just find a gal that you like, tip then a couple of bucks, pop the question, and wait for her to finish. Private dances are done on these quirky lounge chair/platform contraptions back in the corner by the green stage. Not as much contact as I experienced at other Denver clubs, but the unusual aspect of being in a reclined position was quite enjoyable. I did dances with five different gals here. I had one gal who dragged me back there and started dancing for me after our song had already began instead of waiting for the next one, but otherwise things went fine. The dancers for the most part were very friendly. A few kinks to iron out, but you're going to find some level of disapointment in most any strip club. I'll give Shotgun's a 9, and will gladly return should I ever be in Denver again.
