Changes not for the better

Was in vegas recently and decided to revisit a old standby LD. Have been to this club over a dozen times over the years and seen it evolve from a true gem/locals place to a hit or miss tourist trap. A friend who lives in the area mentioned that LD has changed management over the past year as well. Called for the free limo pickup which came promptly and the driver proceeded to pick up a few guys on the strip as well. Arrived at LD and tipped the driver $10 and entered the club where things went downhill. Brought some free passes from my last visit here and presented them to the cashier. These "free passes" would let you in for $11 on my previous visits. Cashier would not honor them and said the cover would be $35. Wtf, what would be the cover had I arrived in a cab? Begrudgingly I paid the cover went thru the metal detector security and proceeded to get my $35 worth of soda. LD is still dry. Sat down and notice the ambience, decor and setup was the same from my previous visits. Still smoky as hell in the club. Surveying the talent I gradually noticed that most of the dancers were white. Yes most were on the young side and had the girl next door vibe, but having diversity in ur lineup is a positive, not negative. The approach from girls were aggressive, settled on a test drive with a cute spinner in the back private room. Right before she starts the price doubles from $20 to $40 if I wanted full nude. Needless to say that killed the mood, paid her the $40 and got a very mediocre dance. Went back to the main floor and sat for awhile. Approached by another cutie and this time asked for the pricing for a full nude dance in the back. Quoted $40 with a tip, I respectfully declined. Wtf the prices for dances doubled in less than a year, definitely not worth it. Decided against any more dances. Under " new management " the cover and standard dances have doubled, while the quality of the girls and overall experience has not. Cab ride back to strip was about $18, at least that hasn't gone up. My advice to LD, don't alienate past patrons by price gouging. You will get more repeat business if you keep ur prices reasonable like the past. There are better options in vegas for the prices they charge now.
