Things are the same

Most of the basics have been covered by others, and me. The BM continues to operate as it has for months, maybe years. That's good news. I always go during a weekday afternoon. There are always 6-8 dancers and 4-8 customers. Most of the dancers tend to be on the heavier side, but most of the time there is one, or two, spinner types, which I prefer. The 3 song service ranges from so-so, with a passive first two songs and a strong 3rd song, to very pleasing, with 3 very good, high contact songs. It depends on the dancer. They each have their routine. Lately, my dances have ranged from so-so to good, but the best dances I've gotten were a couple years ago from a long gone dancer.

Dancers will steer you to the best location for dances. The corner in the front area seems to be the best, but I think it is a 3-song-3-set minimum ($123) in that spot. In the back, the far corner is the best, with the corner nearest the door being next best.I tip $20, which seems to be okay, but I have a sense that $40 is becoming more typical.
