My Latest Visit to Scarlett's

I happened to be in Miami on business for the week and decided to go to Scarlett's on my final night in town. Good decision! After a long week, I was just looking to find a place with good bartenders, beautiful naked women, and a fun atmosphere and that was Scarlett's. I was staying in the South Beach-area, so the drive up took about 20-25 minutes or so. It would have been quicker but the traffic on the way up was horrendous due to the weather and the construction on the roadways. Once I arrived, it was fairly easy for me to navigate the turn-in off the main drag since I've been to Scarlett's numerous times before. For any new visitors, just be careful and drive slow and you'll get there. Parking was surprisingly a breeze on Friday night but it was pouring down when I arrived (I even thought about using the valet service but happened to see someone pull out of a space near the stores close by).

At the front door, there were some kids trying to get in wearing basically gym clothes but the doorman wouldn't have any of it. Since I was dressed stylishly (if I do say so myself), he let me in and I paid the $10 cover and entered the main room. Still the same set up with the stage in the middle of the room, a terraced-area right under the massive video display, and the area to the left with couch seating and table for lounging. Really like the way this club is laid out. Forgot to mention but there is a bar area near the far wall in both the main room and the "couch" seating area. I ended up finding a seat right under one of the satellite dance platforms and enjoyed the dancers as they went through the stage rotations. When sitting is these seats or nearby remember to tip them for their performances. At other Miami clubs I get annoyed by the practice where the dancers to go everyone in the club to get a tip. At Scarlett's they don't do this so I don't mind as the tipping flows more freely, IMHO, because there is no artificial pressure to tip just for tipping sake. I tip because I want to. Finally had this gorgeous Latina come up to me and chat me up. She was actually a very good, but smart conversationalist. She ended up having to get up for the "Are you ready...." parade of dancers and she got intercepted before she got back to me. Oh well, another beautiful dancer came up to entertain. Miami....I love it! I enjoyed the evening out and again it was a fun night at Scarlett's.
