Not what it used to be

I went to the HL a week ago during a one day Phoenix trip that left me with only enough time for one stop. I should have chosen one of my other Phoenix favorites. BML would have been better or even Bandaids.

Not that there weren't a lot of dancers and quite a few customers. The drinks are still reasonable and dances are still $10 but after sampling 5 dancers on the floor looking for someone to move into the back room with I have to say the mileage has all but disappeared. Virtually all one way initiated by me and no dance was inspired at all. I did at least 2 dances with each thinking it must get better with each successive but that did not seem to help.

I have had some great times at HL before, I get to PHX 3 or 4 times a year, but I will wait until I read better accounts before I try them again. In my experience every club goes thru these ups and downs and most of them will rebound in a few months.
