First strip club visit in the US ever

Essex in Phoenix was my first visit in the US ever, only went to clubs in Europe before. I found it on yelp (didn't know about tuscl yet) and went there with a friend quite a while ago. Club is in a more darker area of Phoenix, but reachable OK by car, parking directly in front.

Got money from an ATM inside without problems and went in with a $10 cover - bouncer let me take a peek inside before I actually had to pay. Dancers are almost exclusively black or mexican, some of them ugly, but a few real beauties in there. I got a pitcher of bud light for ~$12 if I recall correctly.

After a lot of time "adjusting" to the US scene of strip clubs, we actually were asked by management(?) if we are doing okay or if they should send over some girls, apparently we didn't bring in enough business for their taste. Arizona seems to have VERY lax laws on strip clubs as the dancers were fully nude and you could pretty much do almost anything during a private dance. I got a dance from a black chick named Venus for $10 a song, went for 4 songs and was not disappointed. My buddies went for two other girls, one of them really didn't do much and pretty much just grabbed his money and left. My dancer stayed with me for a good 15 minutes afterwards before she had "somewhere to go".
