Sunday

Stopped in on a Sunday on my way out of town. This club is kind of hard to find, for me anyway. It's tucked behind an overpass in a mini mall by a night club with minimal signage, I drove by and had to circle back. My stop was not long after it opened, the area is not the greatest a lot of by the hour looking motels in the area. Apparently Sunday afternoons limits your choices in Detroit. The club is pretty divey and not too big. Upon entering, no cover at this time, the private area is to the left and beyond that a bar that covers the left side of the bar. The stage is oddly crammed on the right side with tables surrounding it. The quarters are tight. Bathrooms in the back and the men's smelled like a porta potty at a state fair.

As I said I was there shortly after opening so there were only about 5 dancers. I sat in the front corner table area by the stage. Sat a while waiting for a server but eventually had to head to the bar for a drink. Watched 2-3 ladies on stage. They were older and had quite a few extra pounds. It wasn't looking promising. Then a smaller petite mixed lady got on stage and caught my attention. I tipped her she stopped by after her set where baby damage was noticeable but not terrible and she was by far the best in the house, not that big of an accomplishment. She sat with me for a while she was funny and cool to hang with so we had a few beers and shots. She did her best at giving me the low down on the bar and the girls. She didn't seem impressed with her coworkers either. Discussed private but she seemed more interested in getting buzzed up. So after 30 minutes or so of talking she moved on to some regulars to continue drinking.

Most every girl there did stop by offering company passed on almost all of them as they are all just a little too old and heavy to be dancing. Who knows, could have been the shift or the day but I will not rush back to see this place unless I am for some reason in this part of town.
