Middle of the road for Raleigh
So I'm a regular at Capital Cabaret and I love it there, I go to Pure Gold every now and then and I've been disappointed with it. I decided to make the long drive out to The Men's Club, where I hadn't visited in about 10 years, to check it out. I found it to be much better than Pure Gold but a notch below Capital Cabaret.
It was a Thursday night and I arrived around 10:30. The club is fairly big and spread out, but I was surprised that there weren't more dancers and customers. There were about 15-20 dancers and a couple of massage girls. Wide range of ethnicities among the dancers, and most were at least fairly attractive, with at least one who was an absolute knockout. I'll get back to her shortly. Anyway, it's pricy compared to Capital Cabaret. $5.75 beer (compared to $5), $20 table dances (vs. $10), and private dances are $30 per song or $40 for mutual touching (vs. $30 for mutual touching). I read in other reviews that the Men's Club wasn't doing 2-for-1 dance specials anymore, but they did it one time during my visit, at around 12:30 ... might have been because it was slow.
I have heard a lot about more extras being offered at the Men's Club vs. Capital Cabaret and it didn't take long to find out that is very true. Within 5 minutes of sitting down, an average looking dancer approached me and told me straight out that she'd blow me in the back. She wasn't really my type though, and I declined. Other more attractive dancers did not make the same offer and I didn't ask.
