Mickey's in the daytime
After whetting my appetite at Hooters, I arrived at Sharkey's about 1pm, earlier than I had planned. I thought for a moment too early as I went in and took a seat and noticed I was the only one there and things appeared really dark. I thought maybe the few cars in the parking lot belonged to the girls or maybe there were some customers busy with private dances. Then I noticed all the "action" was going on in the second room, formerly known as the "Tiger Shark" stage. So I walked into the second room and there was a dancer on stage and a few people, still kinda early to be crowded, but things were fully operational--so I grabbed a bottled water and a seat. The regulars that knew me came by and talked: I did a little stage tipping, a few private dances; and some nice conversation in between. The girls were kicking it with some old school music, which was nice for a change, preferable to so much hip-hop for my tastes. Misty was behind the bar and the only other names I knew were Raquel, Cherry, Vanessa, and Madison. There were a few others that I knew by face but not by name. The private dance area in this section of the bar is a bit bigger than the "shark pit", but the seats are still a little too high to be really comfortable.
