Sammy's

Sammy’s is located in a fairly nice commercial area on the outskirts of Birmingham, so no safety concerns. Parking is free. Five dollar cover charge for entry. The building is nice and well kept, but not luxurious. A big plus is the club is no smoking so you won’t leave smelling like an ashtray. I stopped by at about 10:00 p.m. on a Sunday evening so, as expected, the place was pretty slow—maybe a dozen customers and about six dancers, about half white and half AA. They were a little above average in looks, 5-6 range, except for one AA porker and another thin AA with slightly enhanced tits who was very good looking. I was here several years ago and recall that pasties were required back then, but no more. The girls get topless after getting a few tips but keep the bottoms on. There is no teasing or flashing of the kitty, no matter how much of a tip they get. Maybe they show a little more in VIP, I don’t know. The mixed drinks were a little pricey at $8.25. After sitting at the bar for a 20 min a white spinner sat down next to me and started to chat me up. I wasn’t interested, but she kept chatting and eventually suggested a 20 min VIP session for $150. I declined and she moved on. A little later the good looking AA sat down. After chatting for a while she asked me if I would buy her a drink. This club has the “lady drink” hustle--$20 to buy a dancer a drink, split 50/50 between the girl and the house. She was a good conversationalist and was doing a good job of keeping me company so I bought her a drink. After a while she suggested VIP, but her price was higher--$150 for herself and $50 to the club for the room. She said VIP was private and promised to get naughty, but was vague on specifics. I declined, but instead opted for a $20 lap dance. The lap dance area is kind of weird. It’s a roped off area in the corner of the club with a row of chairs facing the wall. The lights here are brighter than the rest of the club, so it’s not private at all. Anyone in the club can look over and see what’s going on. I have never seen a set up like this before. Nevertheless, the dance was not too bad. There was a little grinding and one way touching, but nothing spectacular. Overall, this is you typical run-of-the-mill strip club. Not great, but not a bad place to have a couple of drinks and look at some mostly average looking women.
