Afternoon Visit

This was my first time visiting Sugar Daddy's, and my visit was during my customary weekday afternoon hours.

The club is located on the rather desolate edge of Long Island City, but a very reasonable walk from the 7 train. There appears to ample parking for those who drive. Inside, the club is centered around a 3-sided, rectangular bar containing a 3-pole stage within it. The DJ is situated prominently at the back of the stage. Around the bar are booths and couches with low tables, and it appears that the couches function as a VIP bottle-service area. There is a mezzanine overlooking the stage that is fully enclosed by glass that I think serves as another VIP area. Both of these locales would be in full view of club patrons rather than private in any way. Beers were $5 during the afternoon.

Being a Monday afternoon, the club was quiet. It wasn't as dead as many of the other local clubs for this sort of time. There were three dancers on shift and between two and five patrons at any given time. Notably, the stage was never empty. Each dancer was quite attractive for the day shift in Queens: there were two black girls and a latina. The first onstage was tall with an outstanding body but with a lazy languid vibe. She didn't really dance, just sort of paced among the poles. Off stage she didn't even circulate for tips, let alone hustle for dances, and just kept to herself and her phone at the corner of the bar. The second girl up was thicker, but smilier and more energetic. She engaged in some light flirting when collecting tips. I saw her sitting with customers, but she didn't make it around to me. The last girl working was the very young looking latin girl who had a nice ass and tiny breasts. She put respectable effort into her stage show without a lot of pole work. She did end up sitting with me, but instead of even asking about dances, she just relaxed and chatted between stage sets. Since there was no hint of anyone selling a dance I didn't end up asking either, so I can't review this aspect of the place.
