Stopped in to check out Henry's...

Stopped in to check out Henry's on a Monday evening... and was very disappointed with the entire experience. Overpriced cover ($8) started things off and quickly followed by the most oppressive drink hustle I've ever experienced in 10 years of clubbing. After finding a seat, I was told by 5 different people that I HAD to have a drink at ALL times. Of course, I had already ordered one, but this did not stop the hounding. The decor of the place is sub-standard, and the seats are very uncomfortable. I do like how there are several stages throughout the bar and are always filled with girls. The girls themselves were the only positive about this place, as they exceeded my expectations in terms of overall looks, but many seemed unfriendly if not hostile. Not really any true stunners, but many in the 7 range (if you don't mind tattoos, which are prevalent). As for the "vip" it's the worst set-up I've seen. Customers sit on plain metal chairs in a tiny, crowded room with a bare tile floor. There is also a charge to enter and the bouncer is omni-present. The girls themselves did a decent job under the circumstances, and I got the feeling they would give much better dances in a better setting. The contact was decent but far from intimate. Considering I was nearly crippled from the chair, the vip not a great experience. Henry's is definitely not the place for me or anyone who wants a relaxing time.
