I hadn't been to a club since an ill-fated trip to Christie's for a friend's birthday 9 months earlier. Following a Tribe game my group had nothing else scheduled. When we saw Hustler club had a feature dancer in for the weekend and she was scheduled to hit the stage shortly. We arrived at a beautiful, but surprisingly empty club for a Friday night (especially one with a feature). Grabbed a round of drinks and settled in at a booth.
The club itself is beautiful (as it should be considering its age) with plenty of seating for the size crowd. Each booth had its own screen to pull up whatever game you wanted to follow. There is a balcony above the main entrance to the club with a fireman pole for the girls' entrance. Since there were so few customers the dancers were pushing extra hard to make their money. We spent a good chunk of time dismissing dancers in whom we had no interest. There weren't any girls who caught my attention, especially at the $30/dance we were quoted. One in the group eventually said 'yes' but came back unimpressed.
About the time the feature was set to go on, she left the area where she had been signing autographs and we were treated to a bachelor party. As entertaining as these can be for friends of the guest of honor, they pretty much suck for everyone else (just hire a private girl). The feature finally went on well over an hour late. Her show was about the only thing I would rate as 'above average' for our entire visit. When she left we spent a few minutes tipping at the rail before leaving slightly less wealthy and slightly more entertained than when we arrived.
