First time to Elan's

I was in this area of Connecticut for other matters, and happened to pass Elan's on my way somewhere.. I made a mental note of it's location and was sure to return later that night. The club is right near I-84 and Route 7. It's got a nice appearance from outside, parking is ok but tends to get crowded at times. Paid the cover ($10 I think), went through security and went in. Inside, the club appears clean and well maintained. There are some plush seats, and a stage and pole off to the side. Sat at the bar in a nice cushioned seat and ordered a drink. Overall the girls were nice looking, mostly 7's and 8's....seemed like a good amount of the girls were Eastern European or Russian. I was watching this skinny blonde's super mechanical technique on some guy across from me. She eventually worked her way over to me and remembering what I saw, I politely declined....plus skinny blondes don't exactly get junior's attention. A few rum and coke's later, another blonde, a few pounds heavier than the last one approached me. I forget her name, but she was very friendly and conversed well. $25 per LD (one song) seems a bit steep for a non-NYC club, but I obliged for one dance. She had good technique, not mechanical like the skinny blonde. She made good contact, and since this is my first visit to Elan's and do not know the lay of the land, I kept my hands pretty quiet. We chatted a bit more, then I politely excused myself and left. Overall it was a nice night, a little expensive for a club outside NYC. I didn't bother with VIP. I may go back if I'm in the area, but unlikely to make a trip just to go there.
