Different Vibe Here

I went to this club on a random Tuesday night around 11PM. First off the area around it is not particularly appealing. Definitely a run down nasty looking city. When I got in I paid the doorman and went to get a drink. Took a while for the bartender to stop chatting with another customer and get me a beer. Was not terribly expensive so at least the club has that going for it. I went and sat down at a table just off stage to try to figure out the place. Pretty soon an average dancer came to talk to me. She was probably in her mid 40's, white, not a bad body but definitely not as good as hoped. She first asked me what a white guy like me was doing there and how I stumbled in to the place. I asked her if it was a problem and she said no, just don't expect to find people that look like me there. Not terribly welcoming. She pushed me for a dance and I said no, I just got here and wanted to have a beer.

No other dancers came up to me for the rest of the night, I guess I did something wrong. Definitely lower quality dancers there. Some were fairly large. Not a place I intend to go back to.
