A cautionary tale

This is a cautionary tale. My pal and I have been to a strip club or two in our day, but what happened a week ago took us both by surprise.

We had a few days of R&R in Vegas. We did the usual drinking, gambling, carousing. And of course we decided to check out a club. I did my research on this site and on ToplessVegasOnline.com. and I wanted to check out the Palomino club. I had actually last been there about 15 years ago, but it still has good reviews, decent drink prices. When I called the club for a free pickup at 10 pm, they said it would be 2 hours before they could get us. On to Plan B.

We had seen a guy on the strip passing out cards for free rides and admission to Treasures. I had been to Treasures last yay and had a good time, so I called the number on the card. Got a recording saying it was disconnected. So we ended up walking back and finding the guy again. The deal was free ride, free admission, free ride back to the hotel. But you had to pre-buy 2 drinks for $35. We decided to go for it. It was a few ride but we had to tip the street guy and the driver (both ways). The good news was the club was pretty close to the strip.
