don't get your hopes up

Dropped by around 9pm on Saturday while I was in San Diego for a bachelor party after seeing the neon signs from the freeway. There was a 5 dollar cover and received a coupon to get in for free next time...so far so good. Walking in the place is mainly just one large room with one stage and pool tables behind it, and an older/ semi-rundown kind of feel. One girl was dancing and the others were sitting around looking bored, so I walked over to the bar and talked to the bartender who informed me there was a 2 drink minimum. Of course, being an all nude strip club, no alcohol is served....

If you haven't been to San Deigo they have an ordinance that won't let the dancers come within 6 feet of the customers after taking their bottom off...lame! The music volume was fairly low, as was the energy of the dancers, and as others have mentioned after the dance finishes they come and ask for a tip regardless of whether you saw the dance or not.

Ended up meeting a nice gal whose name I don't recall and did 3-4 dances with her for $20 each, all of which were very energetic and sexy. Craving a real drink, I left and went to another club, only to come back later and feel the same dull vibe when walking in.
