Visited for the first time in 5 or 6 years. The inside was completly changed, for the better. It used to be very cheesy. The dancers were 7-7.5., and one who should not have been on stage. Around 7 were white, and 3 black. All appeared to be aged 20-25. The cover charge this weeknight was $10. Beer was $6, and I was told by a dancer that there was a 2 drink minimum. I approached several dancers, who were friendly enough. Got a 2 for $30 announced lap dance from a dancer. She told me there was no patron to dancer touching, but I was able to caress her back, hips, and legs without protest. The VIP lap dances were $60 with more privacy and touching, she said. Of course I wasn't interested.
I got the attention of another dancer who sat with me for a short time, and she agreed to dance for me when the next 2 for $30 was announced. She then made her way over to a group of 3 young customers, and sat on the lap of one for what seemed like forever. 2 other dancers were also hanging around that group. My guess is they knew each other outside of the club. Experience tells me this is a bad sign. The dancer who agreed to dance for me, didn't. She became visibly angry with the guy she was sitting on(her boyfriend, maybe???), stormed off to the dressing room, came out in street clothes, and left the floor. This type of behavior is why I tend to prefer older dancers(25+) who usually take their job more seriously, and aim to please.
I finished the night with 2 laps from another dancer. She allowed limited touching, but repeatedly pulled away at the worst moments. Others I observed in the lap dance room did not attempt to touch the dancers, and I believe that some of the dancers I spoke to would not allow any touching.
This club is overpriced, and I would prefer some older dancers. But, at least it's better than choo-choos.
