Not a dive

I was working in the Akron area last week so I figured I'd check some clubs that I frequented in the past. Not being far from Brittain Rd. Jens and Dreamers were the clubs I decided to visit. After a downer of a Jen's visit I decided to give Dreamers a look. It has been maybe 2 years since my last stop here. The club isn't as bad inside as many around Akron but you won't mistake it for Vegas. Actually it is roomy and has potential but I had the impression that they're leaning to or catering to a black crowd as the only dancers I saw were black and there was a black manager or bouncer hanging around with a couple black guys that didn't seem to be employees or customers.

Having had a beer earlier and a long drive through several cities ahead of me I sat at the bar and ordered a bottled water. I think it was a couple dollars and I tipped a dollar. Nobody was dancing on the stage but this was one of the rare Akron clubs that actually had a stage show in the past and probably still does but It was slow with only a couple other customers when I was there so I thought it was just an off time. I was approached by one of the black dancers and she was very pleasant and flirty. She mentioned that she had just started there and I had a good time talking to her but wasn't interested in getting dances from her because her booty was way too big for my taste, just not my thing.

Might be worth another look next time I'm in the area with some free time.
