Pretty good for Austin

I was in Austin to work a conference and had Sunday night free. After reading a bunch of reviews, my hope weren't too high about the clubs in Austin. Since Expose advertised a Sunday special where all dances were $10, I thought I'd give it a try. I took a cab from downtown, so I can't talk to parking, but it had a pretty big lot. Even though there was no cover charge, you had to pay the $5 sin tax.

The club is in pretty good shape. It's a large rectangular space with a fairly large stage in the middle. Some of the booths had a $25 sign on them, but I don't think anyone was collecting the money. I took a small table not too close to the stage and the wait staff was friendly and prompt. Beers were $6-7 and drinks a little more expensive.

When I first got there (around 8:00) it was pretty slow, but by 9:00, a number of dancers kept coming in. Since dances were $10, I sampled quite a few. Most were very hands on with little or no limits to roaming hands. Some, obviously were better than others. A few claimed 'ignorance' of the $10 special with excuses like '$10 is for the ugly girls'. But once you told them that you were only paying $10, they quietly accepted. I was offered 'extras' both INC and OTC, but declined without asking about the $$$.
