Friday Night Visit

It was the Friday before the long Labor Day weekend and I had nothing planned so I decided a long overdue visit to the Sands was in order. Hopped in the car and headed over to the club which is located in the Crown Hill neighborhood of Seattle. Looked like quite a few people had the same idea as the parking lot was full and nearby street parking was also sparse. I found a spot about a block and a half away so it wasn't too bad. Walked in through the front door and saw the same physical set up on previous visits. I had expected a full club, but there were just about half a dozen customers in the main room. What I wasn't expecting was the high number of new dancers that were there that night. I don't know if it has anything to do with summer ending and school (college) starting up again for some, but I think I counted at least 6 new dancers, in addition to the more familiar dancers. In total I think there were 16 or 17 dancers and if you have been to the Sands, you are probably wondering how they could fit so many dancers in the club.

One of my favorite dancers came up and gave me a proper welcome after we had not seen each other in a long while. I sat in once of the seats off to the side that gave me a view of the whole room. I told my friend that I wanted to get situated and to come back and she obliged. Although there is no cover charge, there is a 2 drink minimum for $10 (at least that is what I always pay). Some of the usuals who were there were Carli, Victoria, Bentley, and Cassie. I saw a few of the new dancers up on stage and thought that Kara (?) and another of the new dancers were pretty cute. She came over and chatted with me after her stage. She told me that most of the new girls were from P******s and had left due to management and the vibe of that club. Not a surprise as I haven't been there in a long, long time. I saw my girl looking my way, so I politely informed Kara that I was waiting for another dancer and she said she understood and left. My girl jumped at the chance to come over and we caught up. After a while we went to the VIP room for some quality time. This time the room was busier than I expected and we had to leave and wait for a spot as it was packed. I think management needs to stagger their hiring throughout the year rather than getting on these hiring binges. However, overall it was a fun night.
