Went to Henry's on Tuesday night...

Went to Henry's on Tuesday night Nov.22. This place has always been a dingy blue collar place but it used to have at least 3to 5 hot dancers on hand. The VIP room is a dark hole with folding chairs scattered around the walls. There is a $5.00 door charge and a $10.00 charge for a bracelet that gives admittance to the VIP room all night. The parking lot is unsecured and has dangerous feel to it at night. The dances were usually high milage and all in all this was a place I would usually visit when in the motor city.

The standard price for a lapper in SE Michigan ranges from $20.00 to $30.00 ea. I'm not sure what the owner's strategy was when he lowered the dance price to $10.00 all day every day, but if it was to drive all the sexy dancers and real paying customers away it has been a resounding success. This place is now what nightmares and the desire for a shower with a wire brush spring from. I stayed for an hour and split for the Play House farther south on Middlebelt, which has become my favorite Motor City haunt (review to follow soon). I may give Henry's one more try for old-times sake, but my advice is don't bother for now.
