First time at Bare Elegance

Well, I've written a few reviews of my clubbing when I'm flying to LA, and recently had another trip. It was a longer trip for me (2.5 days in LA), so I was able to visit two new clubs. I had previously visited Jet Strip (liked it about 2 years ago, but has gone downhill), Tropical Lei (thumbs up: awesome mileage) and TJ's theater (thumbs up: hottest dancer I've danced with).

I had read the reviews of this club, so I knew to expect a strong hustle for (expensive) dances with attractive dancers. That is exactly what happened. I used the valet parking and entered after paying the nominal cover fee. The club is not that big, with 2 stages. only the smaller stage was being used tonight, except for the "showcase" (or whatever they call it there) which happened a few times that evening where all the dancers are paraded. There were probably about 10 or so dancers this evening, and I got there about 11 PM, and stayed till near closing. Upon entering, I sat down for about 2 seconds when a beautiful blonde sat down by me and chatted me up. After just a few minutes - with some nice teasing - I got the line "I've never fucked a pilot before, so let's go have some fun in the skybox". Well, that was quick! And given this club is right by LAX, I didn't believe her one bit. So I inquired about the rate (since I already knew the menu options were pretty much without limits), and got a cool $1000 dollars quoted. Nope, that is not a joke! I will say this was immediately dropped to $700 when I told her I found that a bit much. I then said that I would think about it, but since I was only there a few minutes I needed more time to enjoy the evening first. Queue the hot blonde's sad look, but oh well. After that, some other girls came up to me, and I finally ended up doing a dance with a pretty hot Russian girl who quoted me 3 songs for around $100, but she told me it would be worth it. I ended up extending our session by 3 more songs, and got a very high mileage dance - mutual anything goes - which left me leaving the room a happy man. Normally would have called it a night, but I had an ulterior motive as I was interested in seeing if any of the girls would do some "outside the club" shenanigans. So I chatted up a nice Australian girl who said she hadn't been in LA that long yet, and thought I had convinced her to go have drinks at the nearby Casino after work. Even did a private dance with her to try and seal the deal, but I should have known nothing was going to happen when I started touching her during the dance and she immediately turned those advances down. Let her go after that. Then I chatted up a very good looking Spanish girl (and I know she really was Spanish given we talked quite a while about specific players on the Barcelona and Real Madrid teams ... that was a nice surprise actually!) I thought we had really good chemistry as I was gently touching her at the table, and she clearly was enjoying it. Had a very good dance with the Spanish girl, and she also agreed to join me for drinks after her shift was over, which was basically around closing time. But again, I stayed till closing time, and she was (probably long) gone. Not sure what happened, but I did see her talking to some of the other girls at the bar, and have a hunch she got advice to not leave with a "stranger". Anyway, I obviously need to step up my game because I am relatively attractive, fit body type, great job, cute accent (allegedly), but no success yet in this OTC thing. I'm a quick learner though ;-)

So to summarize: 1) Was quoted my first $1000 private dance ever; 2) Had a good high mileage dance from a hot Russian girl; 3) Had a bad dance from a way too prude Australian girl who then stood me up for OTC; 4) Had a really good dance from a Spanish girl who then stood me up for OTC. Interesting club, and definitely worth a visit if you're in the LAX area, and have some spare cash to spend. Oh, and I did keep an eye on the beautiful $1000 blonde for most of the evening who I saw chatting with quite a few guys, but never did see go into the skybox with anybody!
