Some new faces

I've only been back a couple times since my last review (mid-July and now last night). Club looks the same, still friendly bartender Christina (who always remembers my name and my drink), and as is true with most places, it helps if you've been here when it was empty and got to know 2-3 of the dancers. It looks like they are trying to market a little bit to try to get more business, but it still seems like a neighborhood bar. To me that's central to its appeal. Still a variety of interesting entrees for dinner, including numerous varieties of plates with crab and all sorts of other ingredients, including a soft-shell crab wrap (!). Their steaks are on the pricey side and having tried one some time ago, I'm not sure they compare to Morton's or even Logan's or Texas Roadhouse.

A few new dancers came on board in July and apparently a ton of new ones now that I'd never seen. Although there were two blondes on both my July visit and again last night (Chanel and Nyx), most are dark hair (CJ and Arielle are very cute, and Cassie is a tiny but boobilicious bundle of fun), and a mix of skin colors which keeps the variety going. I still give props to most (not all) the gals on attitude, if most do not have Vegas-level looks. I actually don't mind the dollar-bill collection after their dances, unless they're standing there while I'm eating or deep in conversation with a girl.

However, I had checked the schedules in recent weeks and noted two of my ATF's here (who were among the hottest girls) have been missing. As I learned, one has actually gone to another club (more on that in another review for that club) and another has been out for a while. I also was told by one of the girls (corroborated by another later on) of things after 11 pm usually going a little haywire. Apparently a few "extras", and some customers getting takeout at closing time (along with some solicitations in the parking lot). Some alleged gangbanger action too. I don't usually stay there past 10 so I can't confirm, nor do I plan to. Also, there were complaints shared with me about the amount upfront they have to pay to the house and to the DJ (whose music sometimes goes missing earlier in the evening) when they come in. On a busy night, not such a big deal, but different when business is sporadic. If the girls can dance elsewhere and keep more of their money and feel safer, I'm sure they will.
