Afternoon Visit

Stopped by the PlayPen on a Monday afternoon after work. Had been in the club previously when it was called Pop-a-Top and Landing Strip. Physically, the club hasn't changed much since it was called Landing Strip. Much less seedier than when it was Pop-a-Top. There are two stages: a main stage in the corner and a secondary stage on the side. The main stage was the only one in use while I was at the club. There were 4 girls dancing in the late afternoon and probably slightly above average in terms of looks, but a bit older than some of the other Portland clubs for an afternoon shift. The girls were friendly although not overly pushy for a private dance. The bar area is far from the stage, and wasn't too busy -- probably about 6 of us at the bar. There is a pretty large private dance area over to the side that is made "private" by some hung beads. I would guess that there is room over there for at least a couple or maybe more private dances going on simultaneously -- so it is probably not as private as some of the other Portland clubs. I didn't find a girl I was interested in for a dance. Overall, I would go back as it is on my way from work, but would not go out of my way to visit.

There is another building behind the bar that looked like it was a separate lingerie show place (aka jack shack?). At least there were a bunch of girls sitting around outside that building inviting me to come in, but I wasn't interested.
