Curiousity on a Thursday

I was on my way to a business dinner, was about a half an hour early and stopped on a whim. I had been to other Leather & Lace clubs, but not the one on University. Parking was easy as the club had only 2 other customers. The entry was a two door system, walked in the first door and was asked to sign in before the second door was opened. Inside the second door, the bar is to the right, the seating area is in front of you and the stage is very small and to the back. It was much brighter than I am used to inside, not the typical MAL club. I actually prefer darker. There were a few dancers eating at the bar and a few sitting in the club on their phones. There was one other dancer with a customer. The dancers were 4- AA, 2 Caucasian, and 1 Latino. I think the AA dancers were the hottest but to each his own.

I ordered a beer ($5.50 I think) and had a seat. As I sat, a dancer took the stage and another dancer (Passion) sat next to me and talked. She was one of the more attractive dancers and was really easy to talk to. The dancer on stage was also kind of hot, but I did not get to tip her as I was focused on the dancer next to me. Surprisingly, the dancer on stage never took her top off. Passion told me that she is really good on the pole, so I challenged her to show me. (Dancers going on stage seemed to be a very informal process). When the dancer on stage got off, Passion headed on stage. She climbed on the pole and hung upside down. She did not take her top off either, but her nipples did fall out of her outfit. She was pretty good on the pole, so I got a dance. Dances are done either at your seat or in a "VIP" area. Dances at your seat are $10 ea and dances in the VIP are $25. The VIP is also very bright and visible to most of the club. Also, when I was there two dancers were just sitting in the VIP area on their phones. All in all it looked like a waste of money to me.

I opted for a dance at my seat. Finally, I see a topless dancer as Passion took off her top. The dance was actually mediocre, cute girl, nice chest, but not great contact and no groping. She allowed me to touch her chest, but not the hot button. She told me that the dances in VIP are better, but I was doubting I was going to get the contact I wanted. I cut my losses after 2 and decided that I should head to my business dinner.

In summary, I found the whole thing to be a mediocre experience. The club is slightly nicer than the other Leather and Lace's in Charlotte, but by no means was it a "Nice" club. The dancers were decent, maybe the best part of the club. I did not like the ambiance (lighting, layout of seating and VIP, etc) and I really was disappointed in the dances, although I only had dances from one dancer. I won't go back, but I did like Passion.
