It's Vegas

Showed up between 3:00 - 5:00 AM and the club was still pretty active.

Drove myself and got there right before a small group of 4 in a cab. Doormen and front desk were chattering about me and them on the radio, walked up to the desk and was asked for $35 cover, doorman ran up behind and corrected something, lady at the desk then changed that to $28 cover (so there's where you're "free" cab get paid). Included 2 drinks, gave me receipts / tickets for them (so that I didn't have to order two at once, and let one get warm).

Was quickly greeted by a series of dancers, all asked about the same series of questions (where are you from, what are you in town for, where are you staying, come alone, how long are you staying).

All the ladies looked at least late 20's, all pretty, but none young and stunning.

Took up the 3rd or 4th on her offer for a $20 dance that was on a bench against the wall right inside the door. Was pleased enough to try the next more expensive option for 15 minutes upstairs, forget the price, also required a drink for each of us. She was upfront about all prices when offering, did a very nice dance, and never asked for more.
